Instructions

  • Begin by preparing a simple syrup using a one to one ratio of sugar and water (1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water). Combine the sugar and water in a small sauce pan and heat gently and stir until the sugar is completely melted. Set the simple syrup aside and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Squeeze the fresh lemon juice, removing the seeds. If you wish, you can also strain out the pulp.
  • Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, water and Rudy's Original Boysenberry Syrup in a pitcher and stir. Taste and add more boysenberry syrup if needed. Pour into glasses filled with ice and serve or chill the pitcher of boysenberry lemonade a few hours before serving.

Notes

If you are looking for alternatives to sugar, try substituting Agave Nectar, Maple Syrup or Honey for the simple syrup. Enjoy!
